ADK Trails is free to use. By using it, you agree to these short ground rules.

It's a planning aid, not a guarantee

Not affiliated with NYS DEC. Conditions change — verify with DEC before you go. Emergencies: 911 or 1-833-NYS-RANGERS.

• Trails and alerts come from DEC, and we match alerts to trails automatically. Things can be missing, late or wrong. A trail with no alert isn't a promise that it's open or safe.
• Pages you saved for offline use show alerts from when you saved them.
• Hiking in the Adirondacks has real risks. You're responsible for your own plans, gear and safety, and for following DEC rules, permits and closures on the ground.
